I do not mind admitting that I am totally biased and love Archangel Michael most of all the angels.  He has reached me in such a direct and powerful way and had helped me to open my heart and to truly experience faith.  He protects me and, especially when I ask him to, he protects my family and friends too.  He has given me so many signs that he is with me and that the angels are not a figment of my mind conjured up by stress or emotion.  I had a conversation recently about faith, and it was wonderful to realise that from the minute Archangel Michael touched my heart I knew something was there (I am openminded about form - this one definitely suits me and I am sure God reaches us in the best way for us).  All the signs I have received since have confirmed what I know, but they have not been the reason I believe.

My painting of Archangel Michael (which I painted on my bedroom wall) is pictured above (sorry, it will be soon) wearing his dark blue cloak of protection – which you can ask him to wrap around yourself and around others you wish to be protected. If I am worried about someone I will ask this for them. I did this for my Dad when he was trapped in Florida during one of the hurricanes. Despite significant damage to the properties around them, the villa my Dad and his friends were staying in lost only one tile off the roof! My version of Archangel Michael also carries a mighty sword, as he is often portrayed. Whilst a lot of reference is made to his using this sword as leader of God’s army, Diana Cooper indicates that he can help us by using the sword to cut through negative ties and cords that bind us to situations and people we need to leave behind. I have asked this for myself and others when I have needed to let go of hurt and move on and it has helped me to accept that something has ended.

A lot of the supportive messages he gives through the cards relating to him in the various decks focus on helping us find the courage to face our fears, to face reality and to make life changing decisions. Archangel Michael has given me clear guidance about my life purpose and has helped me to be brave enough to take the opportunities that will help me to fulfil that purpose. Of all the angels, including my guardian angel, Archangel Michael has been my greatest support and inspiration.
